On Thursday, February 6 at 5PM, join us for a hand embroidery class!
Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric or other materials with designs stitched in strands of thread or yarn using a needle. Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as pearls, beads, quills, and sequins. Embroidery has been around forever—and that’s hardly an exaggeration. Its roots are ancient, with nearly every culture having some form of it within their textile art history. Although the activity started with practical beginnings to mend clothing, it has grown into a creative endeavor that remains popular today.
This is a great opportunity to try out a new hobby or learn a new skill!
